Dillington Pond – Pairs Open – 18th September 2016

After a pretty disastrous Summer League, I didn’t have high hopes for my bad run ending today unless I did something different and with it being a pairs match I felt the best chance of me and Hurf doing well would be just to get our heads down and fish the short pole. Summerhayes – Open – 4th September 2016

Something a little different this week as when I phoned Pete to book in, he said the match would be a rover on all ponds. I picked Janders up and then we met Harry who also wanted to fish today. Better Days

I haven’t done a ‘Hit Parade’ for a fair old while (May 2014 to be exact!) and on the back of my last rather downbeat post I had a look back at some match wins out the pond to remind me of times when I could actually catch fish! 5 – A win from peg 24! Regular readers of the blog will
